Comments
Devil Doll:
This is getting ridiculous. Now this girl writes a bestselling manga that even gets its own anime? Yeah, right (downgrade for Series Story). With Kirino totally disgracing herself in the project meeting the series had the chance to trim down this brat and make her reconsider her attitude - but instead she even feels vindicated in the end.
The best part was Kuroneko's stunning speech (holding up a mirror to the anime industry) coming out of the blue, the worst one was the way Kyousuke lost his face once again - triggering a very legitimate question on their way home, one he was unable to answer.
Stretch:
Did I miss an episode? All of a sudden Kirino's book has been published and is selling like hotcakes. I couldn't help feeling just like Kuroneko, that if such a bitchy girl is rewarded handsomely then truly there is no justice in life. It was all the more infuriating because it hadn't been explained and didn't make sense; the episode title "There's no way my little sister could get an anime" was completely right. And again, Kyousuke--despite stating several times that he hates Kirino--goes out of his way once again to fix a problem for her? I can only guess that he has some sort of fanatic obsession about his traditional big brother duties, regardless of the personality of his sister. Fortunately, Saori and Kuroneko get a good deal of the limelight in this episode, so once I shook off it's bewildering premise I could enjoy it nevertheless.
