Synopsis
Ayase asks Kyousuke for help - she wants to give Kirino a present that the otaku would be happy about. After brainstorming with Saori and Kuroneko, the three get a great idea for a present that Kirino would love; unfortunately it's not for sale but the prize for a cosplay event of Kirino's favorite anime! Ayase gets furious over the suggestion of her participating in this competition... but then she has an idea.

Devil Doll: Overly forced. I like it when Ayase struggles with her prejudices, and when Kuroneko analyzes Kirino's behavior. Then again, the plot of this episode was a bit too far-fetched, and Ayase being a model herself shouldn't have slapped Kyousuke for the cosplay suggestion - she asked him for help after all. Man, couldn't something interesting happen here? Such as Kyousuke dating Kuroneko, for example. Or perhaps even Kyousuke dating Ayase... Stretch: In episode ten Kyousuke again goes to absurd lengths to satisfy ungrateful people at his own expense. When Ayase was offended by his suggestion, he should have reminded her that she had asked him for help, and if she didn't want it anymore, then she was on her own. Oh well... maybe it's the bizarre situations which come about that amuse me, even if they don't make much sense and the jokes themselves are modest. But we are nearing the end of the series and Kirino has hardly changed at all; don't tell me that this will be one of those shows without much of a resolution at all--that would add insult to injury.
