Synopsis
Stretch: I felt a distinct wish that neither Meisai nor Shichika get hurt in their duel, since I liked them both. One problem with this episode is that a strange character was introduced around halfway through, and I assumed he'd appear again and interupt the fight. The 'rules' of anime storytelling are that two likeable characters cannot harm each other, right? But in fact the strange man won't be back until episode four (sort of), which kind of spoiled the tension of Shichika and Meisai's duel. Still, a fun show which comes up with a novel situation for each episode.
