| Yukari is in an odd mood, fidgeting, impatient, and she doesn't know exactly why. At school she musters the courage to ask Tokumori-kun to go somewhere with her--she plans to surprise both him and his childhood friends Miwako-chan and Arashi. On the way, she sees George on the street, but when she calls out to him he seems to ignore her. At the prearranged meeting place only Miwako-chan is waiting, and Yukari leaves them to talk alone. It turns out that the three didn't exactly part on the best of terms. "Hiro-kun" assures Miwako-chan that he's gotten over being rejected by her, but asks her and Arashi to visit his parents again some time. At the Atelier, Yukari demands to know why George has been ignoring her. "Maybe I'm jealous. Maybe I'm in love with you" he replies in a startlingly matter-of-fact manner. Yukari swears that Tokumori is only a classmate, and George asks her to meet him on saturday afternoon. He pledges that whatever it is they'll be doing, it will make her "fatally ecstatic"... |
