Light brown haired Yasumi Utatame and black haired Yuhi Yugure are both voice actresses who have developed markedly different personas for their on-the-job selves than they have when away from work. The difference is that Yasumi (real name: Yumiko Satou) is struggling but sees nothing wrong with her alternate personality, while Yuhi (Chika Watanabe) is considered a rising star but hates hers. In school Yasumi is a self-confident gyaru while Yuhi is reclusive and reserved. The two happen to be in the same high school class, and when a producer notices this he proposes a radio program that the two will co-host. The problem is, Yasumi and Yuhi do not get along very well.

The premise of this show is based on a big coincidence--these two girls who initially rub each other the wrong way happen to be in the very same high school class, so we'll see both their at-work personalities and their off-work ones interacting. The problem for me was that I didn't find any of the four alternate personalities to be all that interesting or likable. We don't get to know either Yasumi or Yuhi well enough to sympathize with them, or understand why they feel the way they do, or really care all that much how things will work out for them. Neither seems to have a looming problem that must be resolved soon, except maybe for Yasumi's career being stalled at the moment. I don't want to listen to two stranger girls arguing incessantly, which is what I fear I'll get if I continue watching. I could see the basic 'surprise' behind the premise coming while it was still a mile away. And no doubt the two VAs will become friends and turn this hastily thrown together radio show into a hit. But episode one did not pose any questions that I want answers to, so I think I will skip this show.
