(Rent-/ Watch+) Continuing where its first series left off, Dust Storm Dance appeared to mostly be used to setup events for what is assumingly the final conflict of the series throughout its 8-episode run with a three-way conflict between Arslan, Andagoras, and Silvermask over rule of Pars. The series offers some plot-relevant developments such as Silvermask trying to claim possession over a sword entitling him rights to the Pars throne, Silvermask's origins, and the shocking return of Andagoras after escaping from Lusitanian forces. While these developments help to provide more fleshing out and build up to the eventual conflict about to develop, it still leaves the show without a proper ending and a few episodes of the series are wasted on a side-plot with Arslan's party having a conflict with one of Narsus' allies having gone corrupt, which add nothing new to the series. While offering some decent developments to set up what is assumingly an epic final conflict between multiple factions over right to the Pars throne, this all hinges on if there will be a third anime adaptation of the series.
