Forbin -- are you watching the Geneon release for this? If so, can you tell me how the subtitles are, meaning are the Japanese honorifics left in?

I'm curious because the English title "Doki Doki School Hours" feels very 'otakuish' and Geneon did do "Bottle Fairies" right.

Unfortunately no. No Kun's Sans or Chans are present in the Sub. (I'm looking on the 2nd disk eps 9). I can hear them on the J track but nothing on the subs. The only thing they do right on the subs is Mika-Sensei (Which is also on the dub) and Matsamoto sensei, and how everyone is called by their last name, and all the little incidental signs are fully translated on the top bar.

So in short, nope, no chans are present in the sub.

"Mika-Sensei (Which is also on the dub) and Matsamoto sensei"

sigh Figures. Geneon will use "sensei" both in honorific and title form, but they do so in both the dub and sub. At times, it seems like they (ADV too) feel that the dub and subtitle need to be as close to identical as possible, meaning that if honorifics are in the subtitles, they have to be in the dub as well. :-/ Oh well.

Thanks for the report!
