Stretch: Episode seven tells us what happened during the crucial sortie--sort of. I am left confused; what went wrong at a critical moment? Was Tanikaze betrayed by his team leader? Why does he take the blame if what happened wasn't his fault? I guess he doesn't know himself whether he failed or not. Perhaps this show has a slight problem with assuming that viewers will automatically draw the correct conclusions from the hints that are dropped. But a freaky twist at the end of the episode reinvigorates the story, and, as always, I am eager for more.
