Synopsis
While horseback riding in the country, Ginji and Sasami come upon a sign for the "Western Village" amusement park, and decide to check it out. They find Shinobi, the ninja-dressed granddaughter of the mayor, tied up at the gate. After being released, she takes them to the Mayor's traditional Japanese home. Mayor Genjuro Hagakure (played by Tenchi's grandfather) explains that this was once an ordinary small village, but to keep citizens from moving away a "Ninja Village" theme park was started to attract tourists. But poor transport prevented tourists from coming and the mayor's lifelong rival Oni Jigoku (Tenchi's father) tried to take over by converting it to Western Village. The mayor's son Binpachi shows up in cowboy attire, followed by Oni Jigoku, who demands that this last Japanese style building be torn down. Ginji calls him a coward and proposes a three-on-three duel: Himself, Shinobi and Sasami versus three fighters of Jigoku's choice. Jigoku agrees, selecting himself, Binpachi, and "I figured this would happen so I've hired a gunman" (more accurately, a gun*woman*) wink, wink...
