Synopsis
Kirie notices that Koyomi seems unhappy. She fears Fukuyama will be back, but Kirie vows to protect her. Back at the Wavewind Inn that night, somehow the partition between the men's and women's areas of the hotspring bath has been removed. Fukuyama turns up, and explains that he and Risa have purchased all the inns in the valley, "because you were having fun while leaving us out in the cold". Kirie challenges him to a Ping-Pong match--if he loses, the barrier will be restored and he won't come within 1 km of Koyomi or Miharu for a week. But he wins easily, since Risa was magically guiding the ball. Having lost, Kirie must perform a humiliating massage for Fukuyama, unless he agrees to a rematch. He does, and will even take on two opponents--but Kirie is not one of them...

I found this episode disappointing, considering the last one suggested that the series had finally gotten it's act together. That poor Shrimpy seems to be getting the supposedly funny beatings that Yukinari recieved in the early episodes (still, he doesn't get off scot-free in this one). Why was Risa helping her brother when he was the only one who would have benefitted from winning the matches? Lots of censorship in this episode--at only 11 episodes altogether, I wonder if a couple were yanked from the schedule for being too scandalous.
