| In the year 2062 A.D., Earth's two superpowers are battling over the orbital Elevator, a structure which could shift the balance of Earth's political and economic climate. Lt. Kei Katsuragi is part of a fighter squadron dispatched to destroy the elevator. Their prime weapon is the super dimensional space/time oscillation bomb. Kei activates the bomb, but something goes wrong and he is thrust through time into a strange new world. | |

| The story moves rapidly ahead, with the bomb going off just before the station break, then Kei spending the second half of the episode in the altered future. The series definitely shows it's age, but is fun nevertheless. | |
