OK, all of a sudden I have a serious problem with this show: this one episode left me so confused that I fear I will never again be able to get a grip on what's going on. Unknown to Menou, the seemingly naive Akari has apparently been using her time reset skill to great effect--she was even aware at one point that Menou had actually been planning to kill her. But each time she does this her own memory of what has happened in the time period that was 'rewound' is erased (right?), so how can what she knows possibly grow significantly? Where does what she knows and doesn't know stand now? Most inexplicable of all, she apparently wants Menou to kill her--WTF? Momo turns out to have magical powers that make Menou look like a lightweight in comparison. But I was able to make little sense out of why the two magic fights worked out the way they did--that's the problem when a nonexistent force, which is not subject to the laws of nature, is used to tell a story. Menou still seems to think that Otherworlders should be killed, even after learning of how the Archbishop was actually behind the disaster that she experienced as a child. I went into this episode curious about where the story would go now that Menou was aware of Archbishop Orwell's conspiracy, but at the end I was so confused and frustrated that my thinking was that maybe I should just drop this show altogether.
