| Hazumu wakes up in the hospital. She is being tested to make sure nothing is wrong with her (besides not being a guy anymore). She is released and goes home. So here's a rundown of what we learned in this episode. Hazumu's Father - Total Perv (wants to watch Hazumu take a bath) Hazumu's Mother - Always wanted a girl, also good a preventing Hazumu's father from watching Hazumu. Asuta (Hazumu's male best friend) - Cannot get over that Hazumu is a girl especially since Hazumu is willing to show him her breasts. Tomari (Hazumu's female best friend) - Is pretty pissed that her male friend is gone and this ignorant female is in his place. Finally warms up to Hazumu when Hazumu starts crying and Tomari realizes that it's the same Hazumu after all. Tomari is a bit of a butch in the personality mode. Yasuna (Hazumu's love) - Sorta left out of this episode but watches Hazumu all the time from a distance Namiko (Hazumu's Teacher, 35 years old and still no boyfriend.) - Willing to defend Hazumu against the rampaging reporters but just ends up in a ditch. Sora (Hazumu's 3rd friend) - Just follows around, doesn't do much. Finally when Hazumu goes home (dodging her father) she finds 2 strange people in her room. | |

| *Forbin* A very funny episode. You must watch to see. Stretch At one point Hazumu declares that "My physical appearance may be different, but I'm still me". Does that mean she still thinks like a man, which would make her a de-facto lesbian? She also says that even her DNA is now that of a girl. Hazumu was always somewhat effeminate, even before her "accident". I wonder if we will ever get an explanation as to why the aliens performed a sex change operation. This show has a sort of naughtiness to it, as it addresses topics that would never be mentioned in a show without such a bizarre premise. Things like the lessons Hazumu's female friends give her on behaving like a girl ("At times like this you need to cover yourself to prevent people from peeping!"). As I rewatched this episode to capture images, only a day after seeing it for the first time, I was surprised at how much laughing I was still doing. The net result is that I cannot resist it! Two different outfits seem to be fansubbing this show. | |
