(One episode watched): I was having a hard time deciding whether I was supposed to be laughing at this show or taking it seriously. It is not particularly funny, yet the bizarre form of warfare that goes on in Fronaldo could hardly be meant as anything but comedy. If it is supposed to be comedy I hardly laughed at all, and if it is supposed to be serious it has got to be the worst fantasy warfare series yet, with completely unconvincing and unexciting battles. The 'battle' reminded me of half-hearted child actors pretending to fight on stage, not actual combat. It was so bad that I burst out laughing at one point. No, surely comedy was the idea--but it will have to get a lot funnier very quickly, if it is not already too late. I may not even bother to watch a second episode. Actually, a frightening thought comes to mind: What if the makers' idea was to portray warfare, but, to make it acceptable to parents, add a twist that prevents anybody from getting seriously hurt? (1 episode watched) When i saw the picture of this series i was overjoyed. A new series featuring charaters with animal-ears and tails! So i got hold of the 1st episode as fast as i could. This one has left me baffled. Im not sure what to say about this one other then that it made me laugh quite good. The story felt so, errm, nostalgic? And then the mounts they ride on, reminds me of something from a certain game series. The serious tone of the war also got it self a twist. The best word i can find for this is: childish.
