Eh, this struck me as a show that was trying very hard to be funny, in a hammy way, but just wasn't all that special. Perhaps such an outlandish, unlikely premise demands really funny jokes to work, and it didn't have them. The premise really wasn't all that novel either; it reminded me of Space Dandy which I didn't like all that much either, for largely the same reasons. Wacky but not terribly funny stuff is hurled at us in rapid succession, but quantity can't compensate for a lack of quality. Maybe, judging from the synopsis at ANN, a longterm plot will develop later on, but I am left with little confidence that it will be able to save this disappointing show. My standards are pretty high nowadays, and I don't have time for stuff like this.
