ReLIFE: Kanketsu-hen

This TV special serves to tie up loose ends to ReLIFE with more of Chizuru's character as she and Arata become attracted to one another. While there is a definite conclusion to the series, it felt like the show was rushing through things at points to get to it and left a number of the high school students that Chizuru and Arata befriended to get brushed aside in any focus or development as a result, taking away a decent part of what made the first series an interesting watch. I also had the same issue with the lack of fleshing out of Chizuru's backstory, as I would have liked to learn more about what led her to take part in the ReLIFE project. Still if you enjoyed the TV anime and wanted to find some sort of conclusion to it, this is what you get unless you choose to try hunting down its manga source material.
