It was a dark time when the people of many villages were suffering attacks from the daemon Vandel, and his horde of monster minions. Only a few brave warriors, branded with mark of Buster, proved strong enough to stand up and defeat the terrors that threatened civilization. And so, a twelve-year-old boy named Beet decided to accept the brand of a Buster, much to dismay of pushy older adoptive sister. Beet had a dream of being a great warrior, great enough to join Zenon's squad known to be the strongest of Buster squads. One day, when the Zenon squad was battling a devil named Beltose, Beet wanders on the battlefield, and distracts Zenon, causing their defeat. The five dying busters put their life force into their five weapons and before they pass away, they ask Beet to continue the battle and put an end to the suffering caused by Vandel.

A year has passed, and Beet has gathered both experience and comrades, enough to begin his adventure to see to the defeat of both Vandel and his many minions.

I have only seen two episodes, and I am going to give fair warning to everyone about what they have planned for this series .they are out to create another Pokimon marketing empire.

With a target audience of eight to twelve year old boys in mind, they are peppering the script with certain keys words, like leveling up when a Buster gets more experience. The daemon monsters all have multiple star ratings, almost as if it is a difficulty rating. And the mid-episode commercial mark is a quick flash of a different playing card.

This series is pretty much of a canned-formulaic variety, the monsters are pretty silly (a giant white rabbit with an eye patch and so on,) and script is a string of overblown monologues, minus any surprises or offensive material. So, it might just hit its intended target audience (sigh... just when I thought it could not get any worse.. )

It is your call if you can enjoy this type of series but pls ask yourself, do you fit into the targeted age and gender market?
