(One episode watched):

As I watched the opening scene of a guy and a girl on a wetbike being chased by some sort of UFO, I was tempted to go watch something else. But when it became apparent that this show would actually be about voice actresses (Haruna is the girl's voice), I decided to proceed. Being a fan of anime, shows about this topic tend to intrigue me. The OP sequence left me wondering if the girls involved would be VAs, or Idols, or work in a cafe, or all of the above. As the large cast began assembling, I started writing down their hair colors to match with their names, but it soon became obvious that there were too many to keep track of, even with notes. While it is about voice acting, this show didn't seem to be very detailed and informative about the vocation. I doubt if we'll learn much about how it is really done. In fact, it sort of makes it seem too easy--almost any girl who wants to be a VA can be one, apparently. Doesn't Haruna already have some experience as a VA--contrary to AiRBLUE's mantra? Will she keep it a secret, or did I misunderstand something, or what? I see no sign of truly engaging drama here. This show almost seems like children's grade stuff. And no less than 24 episodes of the same? I don't think so.
