Episode one of Dogeza left me optimistic. A guy (will we ever see his face?) who prostrates himself and begs a girl to show him her breasts might just happen in real life, and paradoxically might just lead to a healthy romance between the two of them. As bizarre as his behavior is, he never threatens her in any way and is thoroughly humiliated himself (though he doesn't seem to mind). Then I watched episode two and learned what the real story behind this show is: every episode is going to be more or less them same. This dude will approach a different girl each time and do more or less the same. In episode two it's a teacher. No girl will appear more than once, no healthy romance will develop, and basically this guy is just a pervert. In this TV version the girls' tits are censored when they inevitably give in to whatever tactic of begging Doge has used this time around. It is slightly amusing but I am disappointed to see how unambitious it will actually be.
