Phantom in the Twilight
(One episode watched):
This show seems to use the tried and true premise in which a girl finds herself at the center of a group of hot dudes who are secretly magical warriors; and what's more, she has some special ability which makes her extremely useful to them. The anime about 'cursed tomes' just last season was much the same.
But perhaps because I'm male, this premise has never really worked for me. It seems that the guys are always sexy but don't have much personality. Ton's magical skill (which she seems to have inherited from a grandmother) didn't excite me and the enemy--Goblins(?) that like to steal stuff--seemed almost laughable. In short, nothing about this show caught my eye as particularly clever or intriguing. Chances are that a more serious threat will come along later on, but it seems that this show was meant for teenage girls rather than for me.
