Koitabi: True Tours Nanto
Koitabi appears to have been made in mind as a sort of tourism promotional piece for Nanto, Japan considering all the couples within this series happened to conveniently have their romantic interactions among popular attractions within the city. With this in mind, two episodes a piece are devoted to exploring the romantic developments of one of the three couples focused on within the series and all only running for about 6-7 minutes per episode. While I don't mind watching romance anime and seen my good share of them, there's too little time with the episode length and formatting for the audience to develop any kind of deeper connection to these couples since each one only gets 11-13 minutes of focus at most throughout this series, which is too little time to flesh out the couples of each story. In addition, the animation for Koitabi is not up to the high quality standard that PA Works typically whip out with many of their animated projects, which gives me the impression this series was made in mind with a more limited budget. Overall, Koitabi's very existence is mostly as a promotional piece for Nanto's tourism industry and the romances it attempts to provide with its couples are too hollow to develop a deeper attachment to. It's mostly skippable since there's little else to attract viewers to watching the series.
