I thought this was pretty good. I wouldn't make much sense unless you are familiar with the girls, but if you are, it is pretty good and has some nice action scenes. It is all about what friendship really is. Not just, "I'm you're friend, so here's a gift," but why we need friends. You learn about the girl's pasts, why exactly they help protect cry-baby Usagi, and it's pretty fun to watch. I give it a Watch because it is a good addition to the story, but not necessary in order to understand it. If you don't have a friend who has it, though, rent it. It is pretty good.

Yep I bought this one too. Although a good smooth story It's not my favourite Sailormoon Movie.Although it IS the first Sailormoon I've ever seen (Which made the story rather confusing)but it DID reach me enough to buy the other two movies & get hooked on Sailor moon Although it's never aired here.

A nice flick if you're a moonie (Some of you know what the hell a "moonie" is)but it's more for the fans of the show than anyone else. Not that it's a horrible story (it's a pretty good addition to the mythology of the show) it's just people will find a hard time appriciating it if they aren't already into the characters and story. Nothing special here really the world is in danger from an alien threat (you know, a unique concept that has yet to be done in SAILORMOON...yeah...)and it's up to those lovable girls in combat mini-skirts to smite the baddies. Yeah, it's nothing new but there are some pretty cool fights and we get to see some moments that remind us why we love those girls so! It's not a must own but fun if your a fan.
