This show seems like a fantasy for little girls, which allows them to picture attending the school of their dreams where all sorts of cool technology help them to become an Idol and have fun as well. I wonder if it isn't based on some sort of trading card game for girls, based on cards which allow you to pick and choose items of clothing as you design a stage costume. The school seems both demanding and accommodating, as it squeezes every ounce of potential out of the students but doesn't become seriously unpleasant. Yume turns out to be a singing and dancing prodigy, which can't hurt. And it turns out that there are boys there as well. I must admit I got a sort of good vibe about this show, even though it's clearly not my thing and I don't intend to watch it. It is not brilliant but doesn't have anything seriously wrong with it either.
