Well, I had thought that this would be a romance anime, but it was quickly looking more like a harem one. A halfway decent romance demands at least two main characters with significantly developed personalities, and I'm not seeing much sign of that happening. Please, characters, say something that gives a hint of who you are, rather than being a comment that could just as easily be appropriate to any and every person on the street! But no, instead we get a lot of hip-level shots of girls' skirtlines. If the characters hadn't been so shallow and stereotypical, and humor hadn't been distinctively absent, the premise here might have been fun. But instead this seems likely to be highly predictable: for one thing, it's clear that both of the artist girls Tomoya appeals to in episode one secretly have feelings for him even though they initially rebuff him. What if this had been about an otaku guy who is genuinely socially handicapped but good at heart, and, with the help of a girl with some sort of problem of her own, gradually learns what love is all about? But that's clearly not going to happen here, because healthy romance doesn't happen in a harem.
