Based on the title, I thought this would be some sleazy show about crossdressing or something like that, but was pleasantly surprised to find a silly comedy about four girls who have somehow gotten the money and corporation support to start up a serious monthly manga magazine. There's the cheerful but naive team leader, the competent but standoffish girl, the one who is skilled but pessimistic about the new project, and the one who is only interested in junk food. There is no drama, instead a silly yet educational explanation of what it takes to put a manga together. Each episode deals with a step in the process, sort of like a quick Bakuman. It's almost like a recruiting film which might be made to recruit skilled workers into the manga industry. Actually, after awhile the educational element fades away and the girls are doing nonsensical things like substituting for waitresses in a maid cafe. If this had been a full length series I might have decided that the entertainment I was getting wasn't worth the time I was investing; but since it is a short, I didn't mind continuing to watch. It was worth watching, but once over it faded rapidly from my memory.
