(Rent-/ Watch+) Taking place shortly after the events of the TV series, this OAV continuation wraps things up with Kiba's pack as they complete their journey to Paradise. An old foe returns to make things quite dark and some loose plot ends from the TV anime are tied up here. Sadly though, the major element of the series with what exactly Paradise is is left unclear and the ending, which I won't spoil, is rather anticlimactic when all is said and done. The visuals and soundtrack to the OAV aren't much different from the anime as it was animated a few months after the conclusion of the TV series thus the life-like animation style and Yoko Kanno soundtrack are retained here. If you've pressed through the Wolf's Rain TV series, the OAV is a definite watch. Just be prepare to be disappointed with how the series is resolved. Last updated Friday, May 11 2012.
