Daimon Kaito is a high school boy, who loves puzzles. One day, the president of the student council gives him a mobile device and it leads him to an underground ruin buried in the school. He challenges an "insolvable puzzle" hidden in the ruin with his girlfriend Nonoha, but the puzzle turns out to be the dangerous "The Puzzle of Sage" created by the black society "POG". He manages to solve the puzzle but it's the beginning of a puzzle battle against POG.

Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle

So let me see if I get the plot of this series straight: talented kid with puzzles must go up against a secret society challenging him to solve life-threatening and seemingly impossible puzzles and he relies on a powerful artifact to solve his way through whatever he can't solve on his own. This seems like the kind of plot you could whip up for a shounen anime/ manga with how seemingly absurd and contrived it is. I don't think I can picture myself getting latched onto this series. Dropping without a final review.
