I was left frustrated by this show. It definitely had potential: who wouldn't root for a lonely guy and a lonely girl getting together and living happily ever after? But for that to happen the characters would have to be developed into likeable people who the viewer would care about; and while Imagawa hasn't done anything particularly vulgar or mean, little effort has been made to give him a personality either. Instead, this show seems to have made the potentially fatal error trying to be a screwball comedy, with the roles played by simplistic 2D characters. Crazy stuff happens, and nobody gives it a second thought. Or, they overreact in an absurd manner, which annoys me. What does Daigorou have to do before it dawns on Imagawa that he really is divine? And it doesn't even do the screwball comedy all that well; the strange breast fondling situation was good for one laugh, but the show keeps riding it into the ground, expecting the viewer to keep laughing at basically the same joke time after time (or perhaps doing something else). Lines like "Come and enjoy a God's butt as much as you like!" give you a hint of what to expect. This show has set it's sights so low that it is pathetic; it isn't dirty so much as stupid. Basically, this show didn't take itself seriously enough; and a touch of wit would have gone a long way. It seems to be only 15 or so minutes long, but that was more than enough for me.
