This looks like great CG fun. Not only do we have bizarre characters, such as the spider-like industrial robot and the sexy female-ish one, but also seriously witty and funny humor. In episode one, the latter one has just run into a human for the first time and discusses the encounter with the former. When I saw the Disney Japan credit I wondered if this might be a Japanese dub of some American show which I hadn't heard about, but no, all of the names in the credits are Japanese, which indicates genuine anime. After watching the opening episode, and realizing that this seems to be a sequel to an already existent series, I immediately began downloading the original show.

One slight problem is that the dialogue, witty though it is, flies fast and furious and I must continually pause in order to read it. Drossel may say something and Gedachtnis make a comeback before I even manage to push the pause button. I bet it takes me twice as long to watch these as would be the case if I spoke Japanese. These are apparently the same characters as in the original series, but have been revamped to make better use of improved CGI technology. If I were not spending so much time interpreting the subtitles I would have more to appreciate the visuals. Maybe the best solution to the problem would be to simply watch the short episodes without pausing or even trying to read the subtitles, and just enjoying the CG animation, then run it a second time to read the dialogue. Or vice-versa. Episode eight was fun because there was relatively little talking and mostly visual humor, which is just what works best with this show.
