Raina Ryūto is the type of lazy and uninspired student who is probably best known for dozing off in class, but he was still some how managed to get into the elite Roland Imperial Special Academy. And then one day, Raina and his classmates get caught up in the opening battle in a war with the neighboring Kingdom of Esutabūru, which led to the deaths of many of his friends. After the battle, he is summoned before the Emperor Shion Asutaaru and tasked with a quest of finding the relics of the 'legendary hero' which holds the hopes of turning the evil darkness that is enveloping the land and threatening to consume everything he holds so dear.

(Three episodes watched)

I didn't watch this from the beginning and watched the first few episodes with WEEKS in between, so I'm really confused. Then I realized the storyline wasn't necessarily linear and things made more sense. And I was really startled in episode 3 when a large portion of the cast was slaughtered by magic knights. I'll keep watching.

Unevaluated Jan-Chan [series:2271#967]
Seven episodes watched - and I have some issues with this series. Overlooking that this story starts off by telling everything in an a** backwards way, it plays too much with the standard set of stereotypical anime characters.

By episode 7, the story is revealing itself to be a mux of dark empire intrigue (think Tytania) mixed with serious magic and goofy comedy (reminiscent of The Sacred Blacksmith).

So while I like most of this story, I don't know how highly I will rate this.....

Analysis : 18 episodes watched

Well it finally makes some sense. But this whole 'Milk' thing went by way to fast. I honestly thought she was the girl Ryner is protecting, but then I think that Ryner can hide his real self (The S&M one who enjoys daily beatings from Ferris)

It's definitely a weird watch, but with Ferris Beating up Rynar all the time I like it.

So far it's last on my 'Watch List' but it's watched regularly.

Unevaluated Silence [series:2271#2939]
With a title like this, I would expect that this is a comedy, but surprisingly it is a rather serious show.

We follow the story of Ryner the magician, Ferris the swordswoman and Sion the king. We were shown how they turned out in the end, and then brought to the beginning when Ryner and Sion are still in school.

The setup is a standard magic/swordsman fantasy. But the characters so far are likable, and the story seems to go somewhere. Although in the 3rd episode, some parts are poorly explained. But I will see how this develops.
