Just as there was a "Galaxy Angel Z", here is a Nurse Witch Komugi-chan sequel with the suffix "Z" (that would make it a spinoff with it's own sequel!). At first I thought this might be some sort of cheesy quality pilot that preceded the ADV NWK-c series, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality is on par with the ADV releases. There is no dub, however--this one is only available as a fansub as of yet, and only the first of what are supposed to be two episodes. I hear ADV may be having some money problems, which might explain why NWK-cZ hasn't been licensed in the US. I recognized a number of odd customs in the city of Osaka which I'd seen before in Compiler. A fun show, which should rate at least a "Rent".
