In the year 2048, people’s fascination for fast cars and roller-ball action have merged into a fighting race event called the called “Immortal Grand Prix”, or IGPX. Moving at speeds greater than 400km/h (250miles/hour), a team of three high-tech racing mechanoids battle another team while making three laps over a 60-kilometer course. Victory will be rewarded to only the best pilots, best machines and strongest team. IGPX follows the adventures of Takashi and the other members of the ‘Team Satomi’ as they struggle to prove that they are the best on the circuit.
This Japanese series is noteworthy in that it has been sponsored and prelicensed by the American cable channel ‘Cartoon Network’, and it is being simultaneously aired on Japan TV and the R1/USA market on the CN cable channel.

IGPX -Immortal Grand Prix-
What can I say Saturday evenings I have on cartoon network to watch the evening animation and later on Adult Swim. IGPX is a good one that has joined my saturday night animation. I enjoy watching it and see the future right before my eyes. If you get a chance you should check it out. It doesn't matter what age you are you will enjoy it if you are into anime. I've noticed as a side note that Saturday cartoons are getting really good too. Jetix and WB are turning into some anime Yea.
