Kokoro is very close to her two older sisters. Besides living together, they all work as librarians at the Kokoro Library, hidden away behind a mountain and quite a ways from town. Kokoro is the youngest with a strange way of looking at things. Aruto is the middle sister is into cooking and proves to be the most realistic of the three. The oldest sister is Lina, who is always looking after the other two. But they are family and together, they always manage to have fun at what ever they doing.

(Two episodes watched):

I was under the impression that this was going to be a teen romance series, but that doesn't seem to be the case. As of episode one, there is no romance, no angst, no danger, (the biggest challenge is retrieving an overdue book!). In fact, boredom seems to be the biggest problem these sisters have to deal with. The show this most reminds me of is Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, (except that these girls are not robots!). In both cases, the main characters are happy, cheerful people living peaceful lives; the question is, how would an interesting series be based like this? So far, the sisters haven't made any provocative philosophical observations; maybe the plot will involve trying to stir up interest in the remote library so that it doesn't go to waste. In episode two they try to do just this; the outcome reminded me of a scene from the movie Field of Dreams. Still, there is a certain enjoyment that comes from the modest comedy and rooting for the three sisters to make their dream come true. One odd thing: apparently this thoroughly G-rated series ran at 1:35AM! Like I said, this show didn't turn out to be what I was expecting, and though I'll probably watch it all, it will take awhile since it's not one of the shows I most look forward to.

Kawaii !! KAWAII !! KAWAII !! Told mostly from the perspective of Kokoro, who is only thirteen or fourteen-years-old and most definitely the youngest of the three sisters, this series is very KAWAII !! Wearing a very frilly librarian uniform, the little Kokoro with a heart-of-gold, always tries to do the right thing (even if is her actions are not always very sensible.) Kawaii!! This innocent story is for all ages, especially for the youngest of any teen-gyrls!

There are some screen-snaps in the <episode details>
