When uploading an image to D.C.III: Da Capo III (which worked despite the effect described here), instead of returning to the anime page I got this message in the browser windows:

[master 09cbb15] Image upload by 752 Committer: www-data Your name and email address were configured automatically based on your username and hostname. Please check that they are accurate. You can suppress this message by setting them explicitly: git config --global user.name "Your Name" git config --global user.email you@example.com If the identity used for this commit is wrong, you can fix it with: git commit --amend --author='Your Name ' 1 files changed, 608 insertions(+), 56 deletions(-) rewrite 2440 (97%) HTTP/1.0 302 Status: 302 Set-Cookie: id=08d6a0b72dc59c8f247fb376cef7d1178cf2????; domain=.anime.mikomi.org; path=/; expires=Sat, 06-Oct-2012 18:38:37 GMT Date: Sun, 08 Jul 2012 18:38:41 GMT Location: http://anime.mikomi.org/edit/series/2440.html Vary: Cookie Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8

I got something like this too, while trying to add the image to PES. Nevertheless, the image wound up where I wanted it, so I shrugged it off.

It looks like Rebecca is playing with a new image upload tool and trying to find the perfect parameters for invoking it (so that it would suppress this message instead of sending it before the HTTP headers are created for the HTML page to be sent to the user).

Ooops! I really need to setup a staging/dev environment for the site. =p

No change in how the images are uploaded, just adding simple versioning to the storage.

Will this (one day) result in an "undo last image upload operation for this anime" feature (for superusers, at least)?

Yup. (It's already given me that ability, incidentally, so if it comes up in the mean time, make a bug and I'll fix it.)
