Posting on the forum is better now. But it appears shoutbox is still an issue.

The symptoms have been that not only the posting was lost but the counter of the posting has been increased nonetheless. A VirtualDubMod question has almost no consecutive posting numbers even though it was almost the only forum discussion we had back then.

Are you able to select all database entries for thread 519 and check whether some "broken ones" have made it into the table? And does your auto-increment mechanism (whichever you are using) still add +1 despite a constraint violation?

Edit: However, clearly it is.

Edit2: Constraint violation was a false lead. That said, I'm 80% confident that it's fixed now.

This is looking good. I haven't experienced problems in forum posting for quite a while now, including the shout-box.
