AMP on location of a crime, but this time it's them who spoil the scene. They apologize to the police squad, but their leader, one Ralph Bowmers, won't let them get away so easily. Kiddy doesn't like that, and gives him a free ride through the air.

Back in office, the girls have to write an official apology. Lebia reads their ratings from the central police computer network ... looks like they're really not that popular in other departments. But finally, Yuki has some idea about how to change that.

At the 1st police department, an invitation to a party from the AMP is quite a surprise. Ralph Bowmers has to chew on that ... at the mobile police squad, things run more smoothly, as Roy de Vice is eager to convince them to join the event - he has received his personal invitation from Katsumi.

AMP's Mana Isozaki permits her squad to stage the party, and asks about how she should dress when joining them. Katsumi and Lebia have some difficulties to politely make clear they would rather be without their superior officers on that event.

The party guests, led by Roy and Ralph respectively, meet right at the gate of Yuki's cafe. The party starts slowly, the mood is not quite relaxed - but then Katsumi has an idea.

At AMP office, Mana doesn't think herself to be that old, and reads the location description.

After a slight change in the seating arrangement, the party finally starts to work nicely. Kiddy does arm wrestling with the guys, Yuki lays cards and tells them their future, Lebia explains scientific basics of their weaponry ... when food and drinks are running low, Roy volunteers for buying more supply, and Katsumi asks may she join him.

Mana finally decided to go to this party as well.

Kiddy doesn't find any more opponents for the arm wrestling. But then, one hand is raised - Ralph Bowmers. He has yet to make one point clear, and challenges her for a street fight.

After shopping, Roy and Katsumi visit a computer gaming hall. Katsumi is fascinated by some old games, and they forget about time.

In front of the cafe, Kiddy once again grabs Ralph's throat and lifts him up into the sky. But when Ralph whispers "I love you", she hesitates - just long enough for him to grab for her gun and point it right into her face.

Ralph has walked away, and Kiddy is in some kind of shock. But suddenly Ralph returns to the location, running at full speed ... hunted by a group of LH3. Mana Isozaki has removed the protective amulets - her contribution to the party: A nice opportunity for some joint action of the police departments! Kiddy is shooting sharp to save Ralph's skin, and the real party is about to begin now ...

Finally, Roy and Katsumi manage to get on the way back to the party, where the mood couldn't be better. Yuki senses unknown emotions in these two, but Lebia tells her she knows already.

After Kiddy's "shooting lession" Ralph finally acknowledges her as being a professional - and gets some more free flight experience.

Stretch:
I was pleasantly surprised by this episode which seemed amusing and well thought out. I hope there's more of the same to be expected. I wish we had gotten some of this sort of character development right from episode one. At any rate, I'm willing to continue watching this series which didn't leave me with particularly positive initial impressions.
