Stretch:
I must admit that I had only a vague idea of what was going on during this episode (or the series as a whole), but it was enough to enjoy it. Still, I wish I had understood it better. Is Ganossa in control of the dragon-like thing that is wreaking havoc on Tokyo? So, he is an "incarnation of the devil", trying to make both Gaea and Nemesis plunge into chaos--why? What was "Project IREM" which Toru created? What would be different if it hadn't been created? It seems that the only thing Nemesis may have given him in exchange for his "soul" was his surviving the 1999 disaster. With all the revelations of shocking things which AMP members have sometimes done themselves, I get the impression of both "white" and "black" magic being in use.

Devil Doll:
The firework of the whole series, in more ways than one. Watching this episode twice is strongly recommended, most importantly because of the incredible cliffhanger at the end. Too many crucial events within a few seconds, but a wonderful opportunity to watch it again and guess what exactly happened before the final episode will tell you.

The massive dragon-like thing is the combined bodies of 1500 LHs that attacked the AMP headquarter. Technically Bratieze is in control of it, but he obeys Ganossa's orders (and Ma-ken Medium's as well if necessary, as seen during the battle). It is a strike of fate that this dragon's spitting fire kills Tooru, the person who made all of this possible.

"IREM" is a translation error in both the English and the German DVD release. (Remember the Japanese pronounce "L" like "R"; the translators just wrote down what they heard, without even trying to understand the story, sigh...) He means "Project YLEM" (a successor term for "ESP"), the project of Professor Tajima that ended up creating XRP-77, the "perfect human weapon"... the character we know under the name of Saiko Yuki! We've seen the wording "YLEM" on Mana's computer screen during episode 10, as part of the newspaper article about the death of Lisa Emelfer (XRP-12) and Yamashita Hiroko (XRP-8). So it was Tooru who 'created' Yuki! (by sponsoring that project; I told you that episode 16 is forming a time paradox). And what would have happened without Yuki? Well... we have one more episode time to answer that.

And it's also too early to answer all questions about Ganossa already.

As for the 30 seconds previews at the end of each episode:
