| This episode picks up where episode 2 of Ai Yori Aoshi left off. Through a standard comedic error, Kaoru is naked and on top of Aoi after falling on her. At that moment, in bursts Aoi's caretaker Miyabi who is not at all pleased [image1] to see her charge in such a situation. She's there to take Aoi back who left without getting permission. Aoi finally agrees to return home [image2] but fails to get Kaoru to return with her. In their short time together, Kaoru wants to be with Aoi since she's pretty much his ideal girl, but returning home is not an option to him [image3].
Saddened, Aoi returns with Miyabi [image4]. However, at the train station, she gives Miyabi the slip and calls Kaoru [image5]. She wants to tell him something so he rushes out in the pouring rain to meet her. While waiting, Aoi begins to doubt whether calling Kaoru was the right thing. Maybe she's just being a pest to him? Her fears are alieved when he shows up [image6] and takes her back to his apartment. | |

sigh Could this thing get any sweeter? You just can't help but hope that these two get married and live happily ever after! - - - - - - - - - - - - (2004-02-26, Devil Doll:) The third great episode in a row - so fairy tales have their sad sides as well, as there still is a world outside the room of these two love birds. Another 24 hours have passed, and we now know that our Romeo and Juliet both have some serious family issues and it won't be too easy to achieve happiness for them. But again Aoi closing line offers a great cliffhanger, and the next episode will provide another unexpected development... | |
