| at the very begining, a very young kenshin sees his friends slaughtered before his very eyes.because he was young, he was asked that he be sparred. a man (something mitsurugi, can't remember) takes him in and trains him. after a grave yard scene where he talks to shinta renamed kenshin, you see some important people walking along a a dark street, and i'd love to tell ya what happens but i wouldn't want to spoile it for people who haven't seen it. | |

| before i saw this, blood of the last vampire was at the top of anime rankings. i must say i had my doubts, because in the show on cartoon network kenshin sounds like a drunken doped up gay irish yoda wannabe. but thanks to my slightly odd but very cool cousin T.J. i saw this brilliant peice of work. the story, though hard to follow at times is very interesting and the art work's amazing. the action is well done too. a perfect 10 | |
