Synopsis
Meryl and Milly are back at the Bernardelli Insurance Company, when word comes of the catastrophe at Augusta. Being the only ones with any experience tracking Vash the Typhoon, the two are assigned to investigate. However, while aboard a sandsteamer to New Oregon, they find themselves caught up in a brutal vendetta between two local families.

Stretch 6/18/04: About the only tie-in I noticed to the main plot of the series is that one of the gang of gunmen who hijack the sandsteamer turns out to be not human at all, but rather some sort of puppet controlled by one of the Gung-Ho Guns.
