It all started in September 07, during my school holidays when I had nothing to do. I turn on my tv, and caught episode 20 of Melody of Oblivion. I originally started and dropped it at the totally incomprehensible episode 3. But now I am very interested. I rewatched the whole series, and here I am, an avid anime fan who watched 50 series in one year and still going strong.
Soon after I started watching anime, I was looking for recommendations for good animes. That is when I chanced upon this site, and found the reviews here very insightful and helpful. I began to frequent this site, and finally decided to write some reviews myself.
My character design rates the how realistic/cool/aweso
I do assign scores, but they are not very strictly benchmarked with each other, so do not put too much weight on them. Anime, I firmly believe, is a form of art, and thus forcing scores on it would not be too accurate. The most suitable indicator would be how much i liked it, and in materialistic term, if I would be willing to buy/rent it. So that should be the primary indicator of how good an anime is for me.

Over a hundred years have passed since humanity lost the war to a strange race of beasts that they call Monsters. The remaining survivors live in constant terror, fear and denial, as they are forced to offer their children in tribute to appease and feed the needs of their inhuman Monster conquerors. But not all of humanity has surrendered completely. A small group called the warriors of Melos still fight on, inspired only by a vision of a young lady known as the 'Melody of Oblivion', remembering an almost forgotten legend that if she is found and freed, then the monsters can be defeated. |

Full Metal Panic ~Fumoffu~ |
Buy | This is the sequel/sideseries to Full Metal Panic and follows the manga. Now that the events in FMP are over, Sosuke and Chidori are once again classmates in high school. However, Sosuke hasn't lost any of his military training and starts things off by blowing up his shoe locker after discovering someone had been in it and may have booby trapped it (a girl had left him a love letter in the locker). From there, it just gets better as the series parodies various elements of Japanese life or just has the two in wacky school-related adventures. Will Chidori and her trusty harisen be able to whack Sosuke into a normal man she can have a relationship with? Or will Chidori become more like Sosuke and become a military babe he would really love? | |
