For those of you who follow my posting system I don't use numbers, why? Because numbers are my opinion of something. They do not mean ANYTHING to anyone else really.
Forbin's list of funny Acronyms:
- MAISM - More after I see more
- AIAM - And I am Done!
What am I watching now?
- True Tears - Great Drama revolving around a boy and 3 girls.
- Sayonara Zetsobu Sensei Zoku - I can't get enough of this wacky class.
- Clannad - Probably the BEST Key game done by Koyoto Ani so far.
- Hayate No Gotoku - OF course I'm still watching this.
- Kimiaru - And of course Girls Bravo meeds Hayate.
- Naruto Shippuden - Well it's Naruto!
- H2O, this might be drama filled, but I found it stupid.
- Biggest Failure - Gunslinger Girl Il Tearino - Never knew just how bad bad animation could be.
- Lamest Sequel - Minami Kei Okawari - Minami Kei was greatness, Okawari feels lifeless.
- Most Anticipated and most disappointed - Rosario + Vampire - I'm very disappointed at how Gonzo did this panty fest.
- Of course I watched it! - Shakugan no Shana II - It was great but I wish they removed some of the drama.
- SnH Award (Also ran hit) -
Rental Magica - I expected this harem to stink! But instead I got a pretty good series about a non magical boy stuck in a magical world.
It's the 'Oh Crap we just killed a main character? How do we save them? (And sell a few more action figures?) Oh I know! Lets make a Clone of them'
See what I mean? If they use clones in the damn anime, how come the people didn't make MORE THAN ONE CLONE? Stupid plot device eh? There are only 3 Animes that I will allow clones.
Kiddy Grade because it really didn't slow down the plot, and
Excel Saga because it was just so funny and of course
Gantz where EVERYONE is a clone to begin with.10/01/2007 : Whoops, Seto just became my #1. Maburaho is #2 and Vandred is #3.
08/27/2007 : Just a little note that I LOVED
Maburaho, it had it's issues but it was the funniest thing that wasn't totally perverted. Well now I have a tie, Seto No Hanayome has succeded where many have failed. Now if it goes R1, it will be my new #1 Favorite. My #2 is
Vandread of course.| Type | More Info | |
|---|---|---|
| Drama | How important is the story | |
| None | Damn this did make any sense at all? | |
| Low | It has a story. Not a strong one but it's there | |
| Med | There's a story! And it's Obvious! Usually it's a love story with some angst. | |
| High | Most likely there will be a death of a main character halfway through the series! | |
| Comedy | ||
| None | Not funny at all. | |
| Low | A few laughs, but the story doesn't depend on it. | |
| Med | This story depends on it's humor to move forward. | |
| High | Pick me off the floor, I'm still rolling! | |
| Action | Guns blazing, Robots stomping, Swords slicing | |
| None | No Action, move along, nothing to see. | |
| Low | A few hits or fast action scenes. | |
| Med | Fighting! Usually sword or fist but no blood. | |
| High | Blood! And Lots of it! Or Robots taking each other apart piece by piece! | |
| SciFi | This Covers Mecha, anything techinical as well as Magic | |
| None | Nothing technical, move along, nothing to see. | |
| Low | You know they are talking about robots and cars but you don't really see them. Magic is there and the characters occasionally use them but not often. | |
| Med | Car racing or Robot girls are there but not important for the plot. Magic is used but is not what the anime is about. | |
| High | The Robots are intergral, without the scifi this isn't much of an anime. Take away the magic and you don't have an anime. | |
| Ecchi | The only one with 5 levels. Ecchi is 'H' said with an Engrish Accent | |
| None | Everyone is dressed like a school teacher. | |
| Low | Mostly lowcut dresses and high cut skirts. | |
| Med | Mostly topless types. Not very often but they are there | |
| High | Lots of Tops, lots of bottoms and some Yuri thrown in. | |
| Hentai | Speaks for itself (BTW did you know the Japanese do not use the word Hentai? They use Ero) | |

Orguss 02 |
Rent | Somewhere in the future Earth is dominated by the two great empires of Revilia and Zafrin, which are on the verge of war. Technology seems to be equivalent to the mid-20th century, except that powerful military robots, called "Decimators", are being recovered from the sites where they have been at rest for hundreds of years. They still work, and have set an arms race in motion. The main charachter, Lean, is a young man who starts out working with a salvage crew that is recovering a decimator from the sea. During an attempt to destroy the decimator, he saves the life of an influential officer of the Imperial Guard, who takes him under his wing. Thus begins a roller-coaster ride of adventure, involving spies, war, political intrigue, and the mystery of the origin of the decimators. | |

Umi ga Kikoeru |
Rent | Taku Morisaki is a 2nd year high school student in Koshi. His grades are failing and he is working part time at a restaurant to help pay for his school trip to Hawaii. The reason for his poor grades is in his last year of junior high his school decided that since the academic average is below the public high school, all of the jr high students shall be penalized and no one will be able to visit Kanto. Him and another student Yutaka Matsuno protested this breach of policy but the teachers just blew them off as stupid students who know why they weren't going to go (BTW Taku and Yutaka were top students on the council). Taku fell down to #93 while Yutaka stayed a top student. One day a new transferee showed up, Rikako Mutou. Beautiful, smart, and talented, Rikako was the envy of the girls and admired by the guys, in fact, Yutaka told Taku that he is going to 'go' for her. But Taku also has feelings for this girl and has to supress them because of his best friend. | |
