Rent | Twin brother and sister Aki and Aya Mikage are about to celebrate their 16th birthdays. Earlier on, Aya had visited a psychic and was told the fated day when the moon and stars of 16 would meet is coming, and that all hell and doom would break loose. Mysteriously their grandfather invites them over for a "birthday party" and gives them a gift which brings out new powers. Now suddenly the entire Mikage family wants Aya killed since "she will bring them nothing but harm." Aki is no longer allowed to see Aya. Along with that, an ancient legend of a Tennyo (girl from the heavens) is said to have come down to Earth and bathed in a river. A nearby fisherman spotted her and stole her hagoromo (feathered robe) that was hanging on a tree nearby. Without it she could not return to her home in the heavens, and was forced to marry the man and have his children. | |

In 1995, all 800 habitants of the isolated ↗Kamikakushi Island vanished in one night, all but a single girl who lost her memory. The cause of the disappearances was never identified. Four years later, that girl, Mari, transfers to a girl’s dormitory school, Kaihou Gakuen, leaving behind her grandmother who had been her guardian ever since the incident. There, she meets Hagino. Hagino is the school idol and completes her student council responsibilities flawlessly. The moment she touches Mari’s hand, however, Hagino freaks out, straddling atop Mari, hands around her throat. Mari is afraid of and angry at Hagino, who pretends as if nothing had happened while in front of other students, but at the same time, somehow, she is attracted to Hagino too. |

Adeu the Sonic is a very chivalrous knight who wants to do good and often preaches about what a knight should do. After being robbed by a couple of kids, Adeu finds himself in a western-styled town where the Menchi (meat) brothers are causing trouble with their mecha devices. Adue also has a mecha which he summons, known as Ryu Knight Zephyr. Witnessing his acts of chivary are Paffy-hime, her big traveling companion Izumi, and the ninja Sarutobi (also with Paffy-hime). Because they are travelling in the same direction, Adeu ends up travelling with Paffy-hime's party where he soon discovers that Sarutobi also has a Ryu mecha known as Ryu Ninja Bakuretsumaru. He then discovers that Paffy has Ryu Mage Magidora and that Izumi has Ryu Priest Baurus. Together, this group will fight evil as they take their journey. But just how many people have Ryu-mecha? Will Adeu grow so that he is no longer a baka? |
