Violent/Gun-action/2000/Dark/Action Drama Titles

Violent: (Objectionable Content) Titles that include as an important part of their content excessive displays of cruelty, blood and gore. Any of the classical 'slasher' films would qualify for this keyword. The series Black Lagoon would be a good example; as many of its chapters involve killer lolis, chainsaw mercenaries and flying body parts.

Gun-Action: (Story/Location) A subcategory of "Action". Entries with this keyword should contain the use of firearms (that are small enough to be handled by one or two persons).

Dark: (Style) Titles that are dismal or gloomy in nature qualify for this category.

Action Drama: (Genre) Much like "Action" (lots of shooting, explosions, and the like) except it has "Drama" thrown in as well.

Ima Soko ni Iru Boku
Rent It doesn't look like this is going to be a great day for Matsutani Shuzo, nickname "Shu". The schoolboy has just lost a kendo fight in his dojo, and the girl he intended to impress walked away with his victorious opponent who even gave him a lecture after their fight. Depressed he retreats to the industry sector of his hometown, climbing up an old factory chimney, the "tower of courage" for his gang. To his surprise he meets a strange girl with blue hair and blue eyes up there... but then time stops for a moment - and shortly after this, he and the girl are attacked by huge mechas. Moments later he finds himself in a place he's never seen before, and his nightmare begins in a fortress named Hellywood where all values of humanity appear to be lost. And yet, Shu tries to plead for his ideals...
