Action: (Genre) Lots of shooting, explosions, and the like. Contains subcategories of more specific types such as "Gun-Action", "Martial Arts", and "Swordplay"; see also: "Fighting".

Sci-Fi: (Setting) Self-explanatory. Anime of this category should contain Science-Fiction elements.

Horror: (Genre) Self-explanatory.

Martial Arts: (Story/Location) A pretty self-explanatory subcategory of "Action".
