During a futuristic age of war and oppression, The small farming village of Kanna is tormented by a large force of mechanized bandits. The village grows deseperate and decides the only way to ensure their survival is to hire a group of samurai. So a trio of villagers set out for the merchant city of Kouga in order to in order to achieve this goal. So begins the epic tale of a small village and their struggle for survival, And the chosen warriors brave enough to answer their call.

If feudal Japan there exists many samurai. Each of them are striving to earn the title of Master of the Sword. Musashi is one who has probably earned it. His double swords flow like the wind and he can defeat any opponent. He wanders around the land looking for talented samurai to fight. While debating whether to protect a young lord, he sees a samurai eating in a small restuarant, Yakumo Mutsu. Later he sees Yakumo defeat 20 men without drawing his katana. Musashi decides there that Yakumo is the man he needs to fight to find out who is the best.
