Negi Springfield is a 10-year old graduate of a magic academy in England. His first assignment in the real world is to Japan and to an all-girls school (jr. high and high school) where he will teach 2nd-year junior high English. However, since his class is supposed to be full of normal girls, Negi is not supposed to let them know. One of Negi-sensei's students, Kagurazaka Asuna, discovers his secret and attempts to use it to her advantage since the idea of a 10-year old boy teaching does not amuse her. However, things happen and soon Asuna finds that she must aid Negi, especially when things live vampire mages and more are around.
