TV/1985/Mecha Titles

This is a genre of anime which features mechanical fighting machines. Often these take the form of giant robots but this isn't the only form mecha can take. There are tons of examples of mecha titles considering the popularity of the series. Blue Gender, Shin Seiki Evangelion, Tenkuu no Escaflowne, and Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 are all classic mecha titles.

Muge becomes even more fearsome because of Shapiro Keats, a power-hungry Earthling-turned-tra­itor. It's up to Shinobu, Sara (Shapiro's old girldfriend), Masato, and Ryo of the Jyusenkitai/Cyber Beast Force to pilot the four Jyusenki/Beast Mecha (Eagle Fighter, Land Cougar, Land Liger, and Big Moth, a mammoth mecha), which can combine into the giant mech Dancougar.

Kidô Senshi Z Gundam		The year is Universal Century 0087, 7 years after the conclusion of the original Mobile Suit Gundam. In order to prevent rebellions from space colonies, the Earth Federation founds a group called the Titans, an autonomous space force designed to root out dissenters by any means necessary. Their actions end up rivaling those of the very forces they tried to destroy in cruelty.
