This is a term coined to identify things like jiggling breasts, cleavage shots, panty shots, bra shots, closeup shots of women's breast, legs, butt, etc., and mild nudity all for the purposes of "servicing" the audience and having no relevance to the plot or characters of a series. The term has a second meaning covering things like massive action sequences, explosions, fights, etc., but it mostly refers to the first meaning.
This is a sub-genre of the romantic-comedy genre. To qualify, you have to have a single, dateless, nice guy who suddenly finds himself surrounded by a bunch of hot girls/women who are interested or attracted to him to varying degrees. The male lead may also live with many of these girls.

After Naru and her sister leave for a visit to their home, Motoko's older sister comes for a visit to Hinata Sou with an announcement -- Motoko must return home to inherit the family dojo. Motoko doesn't feel ready to return and in a panic claims that she is engaged to Keitaro. If Motoko is engaged, she will not be forced to return home and won't be allowed to take over the dojo, much as happened with her elder sister years earlier. Despite the help of the Hinata Sou residence, Motoko is found out and defeated in a short battle with her sister. Motoko's only chance now is to defeat her sister in combat using any method(s) she chooses within four days. Otherwise, she must marry Keitaro. Can Motoko and Keitaro come up with a plan to defeat Motoko's sister? What will Naru do about this sudden turn of events?
