Implanted with a "blue seed", the unborn form of a malevolent entity called the Aragomi, young Momiji Fujiyama has found herself the recipient of bizarre powers that allow her to pinpoint the location of an impending Aragami attack. Now recruited by the TAC, a special government agency whose purpose is to combat the Aragomi, she is the first line of defense for a nation under siege...but the TAC is badly outgunned and outnumbered. When the Aragami show up it turns the city into a war zone, the Aragami monsters seem unstoppable! A collection of shorts by Katsuhiro Otomo. The first, Magnetic Rose, is about a group of space salvagers who respond to a distress call and find a lavish space mansion. The second, Stink Bomb, is about a young man who takes an experimental cold pill, and becomes a living disaster as his body exudes an odious green cloud. The last is "Cannon Fodder," about a boy who lives out his life in a vaguely Orwellian world, fighting a distant, invisible, enemy.

While drunk, Ryouko, a space pirate and wanted criminal, is shot down above the Earth by Galaxy Police Detective Mihoshi. Tenchi, a teenage boy, sees Ryouko crash and runs to the crash site. He greets Ryouko as she gains consciousness just in time for Mihoshi to show up in a hard suit. By the end of the episode both Mihoshi and Ryouko are stranded and living at Tenchi's house.
